Robert
Micklem

Legal Director

Robert has worked in top London family law practices since 2009. He has extensive experience in all areas of family law, including divorce, matrimonial finance, pre-nuptial agreements and private children matters including international relocation. He specialises in advising clients in complex financial cases often with an international element, from locations including Russia, New Zealand, the US and France. He also has particular experience in advising clients in cases with multifaceted remuneration structures involving share incentive schemes and share options.

Robert also specialises in family law agreements (pre/post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and separation agreements). In 2019 he founded the Family Law Agreements Group (FLAG) with solicitors from other London practices. FLAG’s focus is to approach the negotiation and drafting of family law agreements in a constructive and cost-effective manner whilst adhering to a code of practice, so as to provide the best service to the clients and avoid any unnecessary tension and expense that such a process can involve.

Robert was shortlisted for the City Wealth Future Leaders Award 2020 for ‘Family Lawyer of the Year – Senior/Managing Associate’ and was named as a Key Lawyer in The Legal 500 2021 at his previous firm, in which he was described as “very reassuring and concise in his explanation of the law and legal process”.

Robert is the Chairman of the committee for the South West London Region of Resolution and also sits on the committee for the London Region of Resolution.

Robert joined Rayden Solicitors in September 2021 and is based in the Beaconsfield office.
