We are delighted to announce the latest promotion to our Partner team. Former Legal Director Nicola Caffery, based in the Harpenden office is promoted to Partner with effect from 1st April.
Nicola has had a long career at Rayden Solicitors, having joined the business over 13 years ago in 2011. When Nicola first joined our team she was working temporarily as a Legal PA, based in the St Albans office. She had already completed her LPC and quickly moved across into a Paralegal role, and then began her route to qualification as a family lawyer. Initially Nicola qualified as a Legal Executive with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2017 and then pursued qualification as a Solicitor, with her admission to the Roll of Solicitors taking effect in 2018.
Nicola is a superb family lawyer and her abilities have enabled her to rise through the ranks at Rayden Solicitors – in 2019 she was promoted to Associate Solicitor, followed by promotion to Senior Associate in 2021 and Legal Director in 2022.
During this time Nicola has played a central role in the growth of the business. She worked alongside Partners Paula Butterworth and Emily Watson as they opened the Rayden Solicitors second office in Berkhamsted in 2016, and helped to establish the office as a core member of the local business community.
In late 2021 we opened our seventh office in Harpenden and Nicola joined Paula Butterworth in the move to the Harpenden office, building on her local network to establish the business’s presence in the town.
Alongside her work across all areas of family law, Nicola also supports the Compliance department in the business. Working closely with Compliance Partner Loschinee Reddy, Nicola provides valuable insight and action to fulfil Rayden Solicitors’ regulatory and compliance obligations.
