Saffiya joined Rayden Solicitors in September 2021 and qualified with the firm in March 2023, having previously worked at top family law firms in London and the Midlands. Prior to this, Saffiya worked in legal business and practice development in the City for silver circle and American law firms.
She advises on a broad range of family law issues arising on the breakdown of marriage or cohabitation, including financial arrangements, private children law matters and injunctive proceedings. Saffiya also advises on cohabitation and nuptial agreements.
Saffiya has experience working on complex financial cases, including business assets, trusts and serious non-disclosure. Her cases often involve parallel private children matters. Saffiya has particular expertise in relocation cases, nationally and internationally. She also advises on making financial claims on behalf of children in Schedule 1 proceedings.
Saffiya is a member of Resolution and approaches each case pragmatically, advocating for alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
