LEGAL DIRECTOR
Nicola Meldrum advises clients on all aspects of divorce and private family law, specialising in financial disputes arising out of divorce and separation. Nicola has worked on cases involving substantial assets in multiple jurisdictions, complex trust structures and the restructuring of family businesses.
Nicola has extensive experience dealing with arrangements for children following the breakdown of a relationship, for example disputes as to where a child will live and how much time a child will spend with a parent. Nicola has been involved in a number of children cases with an international divorce dimension.
Nicola also advises clients on cohabitation disputes and wealth protection including negotiating pre and post nuptial agreements.
Nicola recognises that each client’s circumstances are different and unique to them. She takes a practical and sensitive approach to matters in order to achieve an outcome which prioritises a client’s individual objective and provides a long term solution.
During Nicola’s training contract she gained experience in family law, litigation (including property litigation) and property. Following qualification she moved to a different firm before joining Rayden Solicitors in September 2016.
