Claire joined Rayden Solicitors in 2022 after working for legal firms in in London, Milton Keynes, Guildford and Chichester, having specialised in Family Law since qualification.
Claire is a Law Society accredited family law panel member and a member of Resolution which ensures she provides a constructive and proactive approach tailored to each client whilst managing each case proportionately and with sensitivity. Claire advises clients in a clear and pragmatic manner ensuring that clients understand their options and feel in control of their decisions.
In addition to this, Claire is a qualified Mediator and is committed to assisting parties navigate routes to settlement where possible, often during an emotionally challenging period of their lives.
Claire has further particular experience in running financial proceedings through alternative dispute resolution and has concluded a number of cases through the family law arbitration process and through private Financial Dispute Resolution hearings/Early Neutral Evaluation.
Claire has experience within financial settlement cases extending from high net worth cases to moderate financial cases in which needs balanced. Her experience includes cases involving financial misconduct and abuse, interveners/third parties, inheritance and jurisdictional issues.
Claire has co-authored a leading article for the Financial Remedies Journal and co-presented for Class Legal on the topic of the ‘elephant trap’ of premature remarriage and its impacts on financial claims.
Claire is also experienced in complex children matters including those where serious allegations of harm and abuse are raised, parental alienation, relocation (both inside and outside of England and Wales) and cases dealing with removal of parental responsibility in private law proceedings. Claire regularly represents both applicants and respondents on cases with disabled children.
