Legal 500

Anna-Laura has 10 years of experience in family law having trained and worked at a large London firm before joining Rayden Solicitors. She advises on all aspects of family law to individuals – both during a relationship to help them plan for their future, and also after a relationship has broken down.

Anna-Laura’s practice includes divorce and complex financial matters involving trusts, companies, especially family businesses, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial or civil partnership agreements and cohabitation. She advises regularly in relation to issues involving children with an awareness of the importance of finding a child-focused solution whilst at the same time supporting clients through a sensitive and painful time. A large proportion of her work is cases involving an international element with countries ranging from America, Europe, India and the Middle East. She also has expertise in children and financial cases involving allegations of coercive and controlling or other abusive behaviour and addictions.

Anna-Laura is resolution focused and is committed to brokering solutions for people experiencing what is, invariably, an emotionally challenging period of their lives. In many cases it is possible to do so without the need for court proceedings. She appreciates, however, that the involvement of the court is sometimes unavoidable to protect a vulnerable individual or to find a way forward that allows both parties to move on with their lives.

She has been recognised by Legal 500 as a recommended lawyer since 2020. Anna-Laura has been named as a Rising Star by Legal 500 for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 with the directory noting that she is “charming, skilled, constructive and collaborative” and that “she is clearly in ascendant”.

Anna-Laura has co-authored a chapter on costs for a family law handbook and, separately, a guide given to separating parents by legal professionals. She writes regularly on all topics for publications disseminated to family law practitioners including the Gazette, The Review, The Barrister and the Family Law Journal. She also regularly comments on family law developments in the national press.

She is a member of Resolution and of Resolution’s Parenting after Parting Committee which is tasked with encouraging and training family law practitioners to help parents work together to agree arrangements for their children following separation. She is also on the Family Ambassador Board of Support Through Court, a UK legal charity that supports people who have to represent themselves in court.

Anna-Laura joined Rayden Solicitors in April 2022 and is based in the London Bridge office.
