Rayden Solicitors top ranking once again in leading national legal guide

Chambers and Partners Rankings Guide 2023

Rayden Solicitors is delighted to announce that the firm has retained its top tier ranking in the annual Chambers and Partners UK Rankings Guide 2023.  The firm has been ranked once again as a Band 1 firm for family law.

The Chambers Guide, which is recognised as a highly respected annual list of the best law firms and individual lawyers throughout the UK.  The Guide is the result of in depth research and interviews, conducted by more than 70 independent consultants across a range of professional and client referees.

Rayden Solicitors is recognised as a specialist family law firm known in the market for its work in both matrimonial finance and private children law matters, including care arrangements and maintenance disputes. The firm advises high net worth individuals and foreign nationals on complex separation and asset division cases, often including trust structures, overseas assets and business interests. The dispute resolution offerings of Arbitration, Collaborative Law and Mediation are also acknowledged as part of Rayden Solicitors’ alternatives to litigation.

Senior Partner and Founder of the firm Katherine Rayden has retained her Band 1 ranking and is recognised for her work on international cases.  She often represents clients in proceedings with one of the parties based overseas, and advises on high-value financial matters involving overseas assets and the enforcement of child maintenance.

Julian Bremner, Partner and Financial Arbitrator, retains his Band 2 individual ranking.  Julian is acknowledged for his expertise in matrimonial finance cases, with notable experience in matters involving high-value assets. He is similarly adept at advising on private children matters, including disputes regarding contact and custody arrangements and for his dispute resolution experience.

Paula Butterworth, Partner and also a trained Collaborative Lawyer, retains her Band 2 individual ranking and is recognised for her range of expertise, assisting clients with across a broad number of family law matters. She advises on high-value financial remedy proceedings, as well as private child arrangements following divorce and separation.

Emily Watson, Partner and Children Arbitrator, is ranked at Band 3 individually, and is commended for her advice on financial remedy matters involving overseas assets and spousal maintenance orders. We are also delighted that Partner Mary Kaye, who joined Rayden Solicitors earlier this year and heads the recently opened Birmingham office, retains her Band 2 individual ranking. She is well versed in Children Act matters, including Schedule 1 applications, as well as issues concerning adoption. She also advises clients of financial remedy proceedings.
