Rayden Solicitors has presented local charity, The Hospice of St Francis, with a cheque for nearly £5,000 – following another year of successful fundraising by the team at various events throughout the year.
The Hospice of St Francis has been supported by Rayden Solicitors since 2017. The Hospice provides free, expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in West Herts and South Bucks. It also supports their families, carers and those close to them.
Head of Corporate Fundraising, Carolyn Addison, said “All of us at The Hospice of St Francis are extremely grateful to our supporters, and are consistently amazed and inspired by the effort and time spent by organisations in their fundraising endeavours for our patients and their families. We depend on our local community and businesses like Rayden Solicitors for much of our support. This year the Hospice is celebrating its 40th birthday and we are delighted that Rayden Solicitors has continued to help the Hospice through 2018 and into 2019, and are looking forward to the next year of fundraising with the team during our special anniversary year. I’d like to thank all at the firm for their ongoing fundraising initiatives, which will enable the Hospice to continue making a significant difference to people’s lives.”
Rayden Solicitors Senior Partner, Katherine Rayden, said “I am delighted that the team has raised yet another fantastic sum for the Hospice, a local charity vital to our community. I know they all worked incredibly hard and have enjoyed the opportunity to raise nearly £5,000 for the Hospice.”
The Berkhamsted office of Rayden Solicitors will continue to support The Hospice of St Francis as its Charity of the Year for 2019. The next fundraising event for the Hospice will be the hugely popular Gatsby Gala, a musical evening held for the second year at The Gatsby Berkhamsted, on Wednesday 26th June. The black tie event will feature Gary Williams, star of the West End’s Rat Pack, with a “Frank Sinatra Jukebox”, and the audience will have the opportunity to request their favourite Sinatra songs. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
