Rachel Nicholl

Associate Solicitor

Rachel Nicholl

Rachel has comprehensive experience of advising on divorce, financial disputes and Children Act proceedings. She often deals with cases of financial complexity many of which include family businesses. Rachel has recently been involved in a highly complex case in the High Court, with proceedings in both the family and commercial court.

She adopts a pragmatic and personal approach to all cases and works tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for her clients. She is tenacious in her approach and prepared to litigate where necessary.

Rachel joined Rayden Solicitors in June 2013 from a West End firm.

She is a keen contributor to the Family Law Journal and a member of Resolution.

Without wishing to embarrass Rachel, I would like to say to you that she has been excellent and has expertly guided me through the sometimes stormy waters of proceedings over many, many months. At times, I have been virtually on my knees with stress and Rachel has always given the utmost professional, pragmatic and indeed human advice. Her ability to remain many chess moves ahead, particularly in conveying anticipated strategies around future court proceedings, is second to none, and she has always kept me calm and talked me down when I’ve been consumed with worry.
Client feedback, 2019

I have been very pleased in the work you have done for me on this matter and feel assured having you in my corner!
Client feedback, 2019

I am delighted with the professionalism your firm showed when dealing with my divorce.
Client feedback, 2018

Whereas my friends complain that their solicitors don’t call them back and don’t show them correspondence sent or received, I have valued being called back, being shown draft before they are sent and receiving copies of correspondence. Rayden was the second firm I approached; I did not go back to the first solicitor as I didn’t feel comfortable with her. Rachel Nicholl, then Lehna Gardiner, were both easier to talk to and both do a good job of balancing a sympathetic manner with being objective and matter of fact
Client feedback, 2018

Thank you both so so much for all the support you have given me over the years, you have been brilliant and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Client feedback, 2018

Rachel Nicholl and Lehna Gardiner both provided the prompt, sound legal advice I needed in a manner which I appreciated.
Client feedback, 2018

Thank you very much for the way you dealt with my case, from your manner to your prompt, sound legal advice and recommendations of solicitors in other fields. You made a horrible time easier to manage. I will continue to recommend you, and Rachel Nicholl, without hesitation.
Client feedback, 2018

I wanted to say a huge thank you for your invaluable help, expertise and sound advice over the last year or so. At times, I’ve been driven to distraction, as matters have unfolded, and your calm demeanour and support has been always consistent and very welcome.
